[A] Autosomal dominant disorder
[B] Upper limb abnormalities
[C] Can progress to complete heart block
[D] Also called as Thrombocytopenia-absent radii syndrome



Holt-Oram syndrome

  1. Congenital heart malformations – most commonly ostium secundum atrial septal defect (ASD) and ventricular septal defect (VSD)
  2. Heart-hand syndrome
  3. Autosomal dominant
  4. Complete penetrance for upper-limb abnormalities
  5. 75% penetrance for cardiac defects
  6. Triphalangeal thumb
  7. Radius aplasia or hypoplasia
  8. Increased risk for cardiac conduction abnormalities
  9. Can progress to complete heart block
