Mean Pulmonary Arterial Pressure
Mean Pulmonary Arterial Pressure
Mean Pulmonary Arterial Pressure is calculated by all of the following formula Except
[A] MPAP = (SPPA + 2 x DPPA ) / 3
[B] MPAP = (0.61 x SPPA ) + 2 mmHg
[C] MPAP = 4 x PR peak velocity2 + right atrial pressure (RAP)
[D] MPAP = 120 – (0.62 x RVOT acceleration time)
Mean Pulmonary Arterial Pressure is calculated by
- MPAP = (SPPA + 2 x DPPA ) / 3
- MPAP = (0.61 x SPPA ) + 2 mmHg
- MPAP = 4 x PR peak velocity2 + right atrial pressure (RAP)
- MPAP = 90 – (0.62 x RVOT acceleration time)
Severity | PVAT |
---|---|
Normal PAP | > 130 msec |
Borderline PAP | 100 – 130 msec |
Mildly elevated PAP | 80 – 100 msec |
Severely elevated PAP | < 80 msec / systolic notch |
