- Rapid tapering of the peripheral pulmonary vasculature
Associated features suggest
- Pulmonary artery calcification – diagnostic of longstanding pulmonary hypertension.
- Eisenmenger syndrome secondary to VSD or PDA usually has a normal or only slightly increased cardiothoracic ratio.
- Eisenmenger syndrome secondary to an ASD typically has a large cardiothoracic ratio
