During inspiration

  1. Venous blood flow into the right atrium and ventricle are increased
  2. Which increases the stroke volume of the right ventricle during systole.
  3. As a result, the leak of blood from the right ventricle into the right atrium is larger during inspiration
  4. This cause the right side murmur to become louder during inspiration
